This game is like the mobile version of war thunder, so, could you also please add orbit camera mode, where your screen doesn’t turn with the plane, and, please add heavier bombers, like the PB4Y-2 Pioneer? And last thing, (sorry it’s a lot) please add like carpet bombing, or at least faster dropping of your payload THX FOR THE GREAT GAME. Your loyal supporter…Ĭould you add the tracer bullets, or at least the long line of smoke from the guns like in war thunder, for the planes? That’d be awsome, also can we use the waist guns on the Betty? That’d also be cool.
Please don’t take anything I said as an insult.
I hope these points have been made clear to you now, and that you can hopefully create an update to make this awesome gaming experience more real. It would be a big relief to some players who have made the same mistake as I have.
There was no way to sell the plane, or even receive some game money in return. I tried to undo the purchase, but it was too late. I once bought a p-40c, and realized that I didn’t want it. Finally, I think that the ability to withdraw purchasing of airplanes should be allowed. I would kindly recommend that the number of aircraft be increased, and there be more variety in choosing your airplane. It was much lower than I expected from such a high quality game. Secondly, the amount of airplanes per country surprised me. It would be awesome if the lag and glitches could be worked out. First, When I enter the game to start playing, I experience terrible, disgusting lag, but once I go into a match, the lag stops, and then it’s almost clear sailing from there on out. However, there are a few things that would make this game much more popular among the people who play it. If you have a powerful enough PC, Combat Flight Simulator 2 is a delight, and is sure to please both war historians and flight sim enthusiasts. This is an amazing airplane sim! It is very fun to play, and I enjoy the fact that you can have so many options for choosing your aircraft, and country of origin. We were impressed with the vastly different handling of each plane, but the lack of variety is disappointing.īut this is a relatively small shortcoming in an otherwise deep and involving game. Corsair, Wildcat, P38F Lightning, and Japanese Zero, its mere total of seven craft left us wanting more. While the game does include such famous planes as the U.S.
That the game also allows you to fly the full Japanese side of the campaign gives the player an interesting glimpse at the Japanese perspective of the war. The artwork does a good job of moving the story along while giving the feeling that your character and his fellow flyboys are aware they're never far from instant death. The between-mission story arc is told through 1940s-style comic book panels. On lesser computers, the graphics in Combat Flight Simulator 2 start to degrade from stunning to merely ordinary. However, if you expect to play with the graphics at their best settings, be aware that you'll need a blazing fast machine with a fast video card. Not that you'll miss it: the water, small islands, planes, aircraft carriers, and battleships are always very sharp and detailed. The missions themselves are lengthy and often complex, and are just as accurate as the planes players take part in history, but cannot change the outcomes of battles.īecause the action takes place in the South Pacific don't expect to see a wide variety of ground scenery. Their extensive research included interviews with Japanese and U.S. This unusual level of realism and attention to detail comes from the game developers' personal love of flight: many members of the CFS2 team are pilots.
